Thank you Heather Funk & Elizabeth Star for the photos
Moving from the traditional diamond and making it's grand entrance... please meet Rose Gold! Lately a lot of the elite brides have been wearing these beauties. Personally I love when a bride infuses her personality and style into the wedding day. Check out some of the rings my brides are wearing to walk down the aisle and say "I do"...

As the saying goes, “Eat well, travel often.” That is exactly what I planned on doing after such an amazing wedding season filled with so many memorable I Do’s. I took a hop on over to the “Old Continent” ready to fill my suitcase with memories of my own. I spent three weeks traveling between four beautiful countries with my family, sightseeing, drinking tons of wine and indulging in all types of international cuisines. Some of my favorite moments involved macaroons with views of the Eiffel Tower and trying to understand the mysterious Stonehenge. A common activity (not to mention my all time favorite) was people watching. I saw it all, from brides and grooms taking wedding photos and getting married in the park, to people walking their dogs, soaking up the summer sun and living their everyday laid back lifestyle.
Europe is filled with the kind of breathtaking places that make you realize just how tiny your problems are and helps you focus on living in the moment. I hope that through this gallery you can also enjoy some of my most treasured moments in France, England, Spain, and Portugal. A huge thank you to Gloria Villa from Kiss Me In Paris Photography, for capturing some beautiful pictures of my family and I in Paris.
Thank you Europe for being so good to me. I am refreshed, reenergized and ready for a new season of Elite weddings!
Vintage elegance meets the Miami tropics with this classic Cuban-American wedding in Coral Gables, Florida. Elite Planning Firm worked together with Ever After Floral Design to create a natural and romantic look by incorporating neutral colored blooms with hints of greenery, vintage cigar boxes filled with succulents, as well as furnishing with vintage wooden pieces. To keep things elegant, metallic accents were used throughout the decor and candles to create warmth.
The bride and groom wanted to spice things up by infusing elements from their Cuban culture. A Joy Wallace Catering created an island inspired menu filled with many delicious dishes and the couples' favorites such as Quinoa crusted Mahi Mahi, Yucca, and mini Cuban fritas and of course my all time favorite Creme Brûlée donuts! It was a night to remember thanks to Event Factor, who kept the party going all night long.
Thank you to the rest of our amazing elite vendors: Merari Photography, Anne Barge, Edda's Cake, Caroline Mongue, Coral Gables Congregational Church, and Comber Hall. Check out our feature on Style Me Pretty!
What happens when two very distinctive styles come head-to-head in the design process—when the bride and groom envision a modern wedding but the mother of the bride is looking for a more traditional feel? For the wedding of Fiammetta and Hernan, we blended the best elements of both worlds to create a real-life fairy tale.
Set at the breathtaking Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, we combined modern acrylic chairs with traditional floor-length linens and lace cloths to create a truly unique tables-cape. The result were both timeless and one that perfectly captured the overall vision for the wedding.
The menu was a fusion of three different stations - Catalan, Carving, and Pasta. Just when the guests thought there was no more surprises, we revealed an astounding dessert station comprised of delicious confections from around the wold.
But the real highlight of the night came when the eighteen-piece band fired up. Staged against the beautifully lit Vizcaya Museum—all purples, oranges and golds--once the music got going, everyone in attendance had no choice but to abandon their seats and dance the night away, placing the perfect cap on an enchanting evening.
Not even Mother Nature with her inconsiderate precipitation could rain on this party. Despite having less than ideal weather conditions, Fiammetta and Hernan’s wedding could not be described as anything less than a beautiful celebration of two people’s love for each other.
Loved working with the best talent in the industry for this one

The roaring 20’s came alive for Alexis and Joey’s wedding Vizcaya Museum in Gardens this past February. This museums impeccable detail was the perfect backdrop for this couples perfect night.
There is always a large risk with outdoor weddings, but rain or shine the party must go on. The dark clouds soared above us and suddenly Mother Nature released her wrath. The team at the Elite Planning Firm had to quickly think of a new ceremony game plan and found the perfect ceremony space for Alexis and Joey.
Glitz, glam, and opulence filled the night as the bride and groom partied to the beats of one of the hottest Miami Bands, Higher Ground, a little party never killed anybody am I right? This wedding gave J Gatsby a run for his money. It was truly an unforgettable night for Alexis and Joey and we’re so honored to have been part of it.
I want to take this opportunity to give a very special thank you to all the vendors that made this wedding a night to remember.

We all have that favorite romantic comedy we come back to time and time again. We hope that our lives will turn out like the lives of our favorite actors and actresses, but as many of us have experienced life isn’t always like the movies. This, however cannot be said for my elite couple, Jennifer and Pedro. When I first met Jennifer and Pedro, you could see why this couple was made for each other. Her elegance and passion for food and his sense of humor came together in such a way that you found yourself wondering if you were in a movie.
This couple was far from ordinary, guests walked into Miami’s historic Gesu Catholic Church and were greeted with awe inspiring details in gold, champagne, white and blush. The perfect complimentary colors for this beautiful church.
The bride, being a bit of a foodie and a chef by passion, naturally wanted a menu that would exhibit her love of food. Aiming to craft a menu that would appeal to the tastes of all her guests, together with the Chef at Four Seasons Miami, arranged an ensemble of delicate entrées and luscious desserts to provide guests with a unique dining experience.
This 250 person wedding was a wonderful celebration to honor the love between Jenny and Peter. Our goal at Elite Planning Firm is to make each event reflect the couple’s personalities and the love they have for one another. Jenny & Peter’s wedding was truly unforgettable.

The bride and groom selected crystal candelabras and custom made linens to complete their look. Upon opening the doors, guests were immediately awed by the lush centerpieces consisting of white hydrangeas and white dendrobium orchids, it was truly unforgettable.
As a special surprise for the groom, Jenny ordered a custom made groom’s cake featuring a character from one of his favorite shows, Family Guy, to recognize her fond appreciation of his wonderful sense of humor.
